Blue Margin Study
The drawing concentrates on the unstable edge between image and residue. Blue is used not as atmosphere, but as a way to cool the surface and hold the marks together.
This work begins as a simple field drawing and is then repeatedly interrupted by washes and graphite corrections.
The final image keeps the memory of those edits visible, so the work behaves more like a layered note than a singular picture.
